the rain on monday was really BIG. yes ar, ashley BIG. how i wish i could OFFED it. insider joke. dun understand never mind. ha.
18dec2006 monday was a big day for my family. my brother is going army! yes, serve the nation protect the country. blah blah blah. somehow i had rather mixed feelings about that day. it feels so weird seeing him so mature and all. i miss my kid brother! ha, guess i have been too protective of my two little brothers since young. so no matter wat they will still be little brothers to me. sigh, can't wait for him to come back from tekong.
and then i hit town AGAIN with cheryl and alvina. it was so hilarious when alvina turned up in a white t shirt cos me and cheryl were like guessing wat colour he was going to wear and we both agreeed on white the first time.watched dejavu at cine. it didn't really live up to my expectations. there was nothing dejavu-ish about the movie.all about some high tech govt machine and i got lost halfway through. did denzel die? did he not? huh? huh? ha. and so after tat we were loitering around taka and we saw this HUGE christmas tree. it's the traditional kind. nothing compared to the pretty one we saw at bugis but it sure is the biggest one i ever saw...

went mos for mini supper after loitering for another half hour. we really had nowhere to go cos the rain couldn't stop raining. it was so touching when i asked for ketchup and the both of them went to get it for me. think i going to cry. ha. the whole world doesn't hate me afterall. thanks cheryl, thanks alvina.

the rain refused to stop even when we finished so we had to brave the rain and walk over to somerset train station. the floors were real slippery and my slippers had not much friction too and so i was trying so hard not to fall. almost did a few times but luckily cheryl and alvina were there to catch me. ha so touching once again. sang songs in the rain and of course the lyrics had to have the word RAIN in it. almost drove alvina crazy. ha.
well, to summarise, it was a great day. with great people. wat else can i say? thanks for the wonderful night guys!
