recently poon showed me some of her baby photos and i was so inspired. so i went to dig out my baby pics too and decided to do a blog post on them (ok la i admit cos i have nothing interesting to blog about these days too. furthermore me and poon have a little "competition" going on... poon, this is 278 already ok) so well here goes. DU JIA pictures ok! ha ah a.
this was taken at my old house at cantonment road. about 13 mths ba. ok i think i was a pretty ugly baby. this one my face machaim look like pig can. only thing i like was that i had more hair back then. and it was curly! my dad said i look like a indian baby when i was even younger. :(
this pic is like one of my fav ever. the red dress is damn chio lor. although it can be super itchy with all that lace... i still keep it in my cupboard. aiya keep le maybe one day give my daughter... that wat my mum says. ha.
the first time i had makeup on and prolly first time on stage too. some childcare centre performance thing. christmas if i am not wrong.
my younger brother (the elder one) was always the good looking baby, machiam those posters ur parents used to paste around the room if they want a fair and chubby baby. makes me wonder wat picture my mum used when she had me... ha.
family pic! at plaza singapura b4 it was renovated. back then they still had DAIMARU there. now that place looks completely different from the way i remembered it to be.
and then there was this phase my mum grew sick of tying my hair for me... so LO AND BEHOLD, it all got cut off and i looked like a brother. (btw the one on the right is me la) hair had always been an issue with me and i went through different (some pretty horrendous) phases. ha ah a.
me and my younger younger brother (tat's how i differentiate them, the younger/older younger brother) ha. by this picture i am prolly in primary one already if i am not wrong. we have a 5 yr gap but somehow we are the 2 who bond better in the family. ha. :)
arrrggghhhhh. chou dao ban si...i was actually contemplating whether this 2 pics shld be posted but well i did anyway cos i reckon they were still part of my growing up years though i look like the 100% nerd. i started wearing specs when i was in pri 2 due to my bad reading habits. and i used to be so proud of my pink plastic specs ok! ha. i still keep my first pair. i am the very nian jiu type and will keep anything just for keepsakes. my mum complains i am the garang guni in the family but oh well. yeah, and i had long hair back then. the record length was up till my butt lor but i was too much of a tomboy to have to tie it up myself everyday and it was too hot anyway. so chop chop it goes.

looking at these low resolution grainy pics sure evokes lots of nostalgia... will post up more pics soon, from upper primary till sec sch till jc ba. HA HA AH, ra and ashley, i am blackmailing u 2 with damn unglam pics next up!!!!
