me, li min and sing pou went to the esplanade yesterday evening to watch sabbie's opera performance --- Les Contes D' Hoffmann (The tales of Hoffmann). first time catching a opera and second time in the esplanade theatre..

the thing was in french and a freaking 3 hrs... as much as it was a new and interesting experience, i still fell asleep for 10 min or so cos i was too bloody tired... had insomia the night before and only slept for around 3 hrs.. ha ah a

after the performance, we went to the riverside and talked nonsense for 2 hrs. till one plus... as i was half brain dead by then, i vaguely remember the last topic of the night revolving around char siew baos and secret agents... HA HA AH. so random but not surprising coming frm the "sabbie-after-10" gang. :)

work life has been pretty happening these days. i am like spending way too much time in office. its a mix of good and bad though...work is getting a lot more hetic and i am spending a lot less time with my family...havent had dinner at home for a week! :(

but thankfully i have my "other family" in office who is there to give me the love and support i need. thurs was my first day down at the interview room for duty. had a little nerves. but kinda looking forward to it at the same time cos it signifies a next stage of my life as a public liasion officer and graduating from two thirds of my training...

and these wonderful pple planned a surprise for me to celebrate the event. with rum and raisin cake from patisserie... the atas cake shop at ann siang that i love so much. yum yum.

i was incredibly touched cos i didnt expect them to do so. made that day extra special for me. really the best reward i had frm work has got to these pple.

my LSAG frisbee team. so far we won 2 and lost 1 match. another match coming up next monday!
