i had a de ja vu this morning. you know the mysterious, unsettling feeling u get when u recognise a scene or place u have never been to before, or when u meet someone for the first time, u feel like u have know him or her all your life? well, at least the former happened to me. this morning i was walking to the bus stop when i saw this kid dashing across the road. at that instant, it felt so famaliar, like i have seen this scene somewhere sometime in my life before. everything was exactly the same as i remembered it or perhaps envisioned it to be. from the way the boy ran, the black ndp bag right to the fact that he had his watch on his right hand.( hey same as me!). i dunno when and where all this came from but it just felt sorta familiar. and this is not the wierdest part yet...
yesterday, me, cheryl and alvina were talking about this new movie of the same title (de ja vu) over lunch. its some new thriller starring denzel washington( yes the guy who won the oscar and received so much hype few yrs ago...) its about how the male lead has a de ja vu and it sorta is a sign or warning of what is going to happen in the future.
too much of a coincidence? perhaps. or subconciously i wanted this scene to happen? what did all that mean? ok, i think i might be reading too much into it. maybe its just a prenomination that i should go watch the movie la.
