well, here we are at the beginning of a new school term, going through the routine lectures and choinging about AGAIN. i gotta say i faced today with much anticipation. it feels really good to get back to some motivation and seeing all the familiar faces around in school makes me happy. never mind so even if they are only aquaintances. and also some pple i havent seen in a long long time ie: guys who were in the same batch as us in sec sch/jc, and also some juniors i still have a little recollection of...cant help it la, i am getting old. speaking of old, it really feels kind of wierd to be a year 3. it seems like nt long ago i was like those yr one kids --- being over enthu over all sorts of things, including where to find the nearest toilet. (its really kinda easy to spot them, they just have this damn eager look on their faces, somebody might have as well tatooed YEAR 1 on their fore heads). well, the gang and i have obviously since out grown that phase, treating everything with a sorta more laid back attitude, prefering to hang out at our own quiet corners in sch rather than where all the action packed places are. and of course, school isnt without changes. places come and go just like how pple do. the new revamped arts canteen isnt too much to my liking. i felt that it had a too commercial feel to it. i prefer the old canteen more leh, even though it was hot and dark, it had more character, something this new canteen lacked. perhaps its the sense of attachment. maybe i should give it more time and soon it would grow on me heh? and one good change i really like this sem is that now entry to central library is limited by our matric cards! though it might be a tweeny bit more cumbersome from now on, its good that they finally decide that what shld belong to us students shld belong only to us. call me selfish, but i really hate it when the library is over crowded with pple from goodness knows where, esp when we really need the space. just look at the tonnes of strangers during exam period. ha. we pay so ex sch fees afterall leh, so i guess we shld deserve our space heh?

the day got tainted when i got really pissed off with the school locker people. my locker allocation has been delayed for pretty long time and they still cant do anything about it. the worst thing is, they make no effort to solve the problem and neither are they apologetic about it. makes me doubt if they are really sincere about doing business. tmd. that's the problem with outsourcing everything. no commitment, no welfare. no money no talk. which in this case, i have even PAID for it and yet to see any locker materialise. testing my patience only. since i am so free for now, i think i should try drafting a letter to CASE heh?
.
its the chinese seventh month again. my mum has set loads of restrictions on me. Dont stay out late, Dont walk on grass (?!), Don't talk rubbish ( wa, shit. this is the one i think i will have the most problem with) and the worst she can ever impose on me.... DONT GO SWIMMING. apparently some old folks tale about something dragging u down or whatsoever. wth. the sun seems to be mocking me by being so strong these 2 days. talk about being supertitious lo. hope this month will go by waaaaaaaaay fast. in the meantime, i think i should start organising badminton games. must get the bones moving la, or i will rot pretty soon. wha aha aha.

came across this quote while blog surfing... "The secret to happiness is knowing when to let go." hmmm, how true.
