celebrated alvin's _th birthday on friday. ha, age is still a sensitive thing even if its for guys heh? had dinner at this jap restaurant at raffles city basement. pretty good food at reasonable prices. got lots of variety too! and apparently its quite popular cos by the time we were done eating, there's already a long queue outside.
the birthday cake! blueberry cheese if i am not wrong. it seems like it has become a tradition to have a cake everytime we celebrate one of the gang's bdae. :)
the birthday boy and our hand made card. haha ah aha. i keep irritating the hell out of poon and jo in lecture that day cos i insist i have wat it takes to open a "hallmark" company and asking them to invest in it. ha ha ha a. but nice right the card? i like the colour combi. and of course the pic in the card. ha ah ah aha ha.
here's us and the birthday boy. pardon the cliche-ness, but time really flies man. still remember we last year we were still celebrating at cine's kbox. jo and ali both had golden hair back then. HA HA AHA HA AHA.
we had initially planned to decorate alvin's scooter with ribbons and banner but the surprise fell through cos ALI DIDNT COME TO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY. :( nonetheless we still made sure we put our banner to good use so that the whole restaurant will know we are celebrating. ah aha ha a. thanks to the super helpful auntie who were prolly more excited than us... getting stuff for us and joining in the birthday song. ha.
after dinner, we headed over to ben and jerry's to slack some more.
happily snapping away....talked a lot of future jobs and our usual nonsensical jokes and laughter. then we attempted to imitate the pic on alvin's card.
took many attempts before we finally got it right.... ok it just an excuse for us to take more pics. it shall be our signature picture ok!
after that we went our separate ways. me and jo did some window shoppin before settling down at mac for green tea and real close heart to heart talk. :)
waiting for the next birthday to be here soon! ha, which is prolly mine in july. in the meantime, work hard my dears! and more gatherings to come!
