on thursaday, the three of us went to kuishin-bo at suntec for our long awaited jap buffet dinner. we didnt make a reservation so we had to queue for a while but it was well worth the wait.
soon we were devouring sashimi (my fav), ebi tempura, teppanyaki, snow crabs, live prawns, sushi, paper hot pots... i think we tried practically everything there ya.

yummilicious. alomost everything was good. havent had such good sashimi for ages. we actually ate from 6+ till minutes before their closing time. with lots of good conversation (and laughter) in between.
me the residential prawn peeler. ha aha ah. oh and i should talk about the highlight of the meal. apparently Kuishin-bo has this limited "special item" which they will give out every one hour or so. when its time, they will ring a bell and play some funny jingle (DING DONG, DING DING DONG... ha ha ah, its still ringing in my head) and then everybody will rush over to the counter to get it. we were sitting outside so we were missing out on it most of the time. nonetheless, we managed to get ONE of it.
tada, our hard earned lobsters. thanks to a real helpful uncle who informed us. its really funny just sitting there watching people rush for the food. ha. good luck continued to befall us and we managed to get the desserts specialty as well!
melon ice cream. this is real good i tell u. not like the ones we usual eat outsde. and besides, it created such a big joke between the 3 of us. (melons heh, ra?)

we also loved all the other desserts. cheesecake, fondue, green tea mochi, ice cream...

more pic of us and the food. still drooling when i think of it. ha ah aha aha. but seriously we arent going for any buffets anytime soon. need time to digest. ha. on the train back we attempted to do group pics cos we realised we didnt really take any during the meal.

pardon the shaky hands. i forgot how to set the antishake function in my cam. ha.
