one week plus plus into work, i am proud to say that i am surviving! i am enjoying it very much in fact. :)

my days have been packed with coffee chats with management/bosses/all the who's who of the company ... and surprisingly, they are all very nice pple. me and the other newbies all felt very welcomed and well taken care of. welfare is amazing (as compared to other jobs i have been in)... so far i already had 3 free lunches, and activity after activity to take part in (heading down to kallang to support department next thurs for cage soccer match! and helping out with prop making for dnd...) . then every other day, they have free tickets to all sorts of events and places for staff, so its like playing "fastest fingers first" as i was telling ra. ha ha ah.

doing alot of self learning/reading in between training sessions with my mentor. i get a lot of "free time" to just go downstairs to the exhibition centre and walk around or to the library in the building to read newspapers too. h ah aha. and my favourite part got to be the visits to the interview rooms to observe how my colleagues deal with the appellants. its damn funny to hear all the nonsense excuses and complains pple can come up with... coughing blood, spirits appearing...its amazing how these pple are so imaginative.

colleagues wise, they are all very friendly and helpful pple, willing to teach me when i ask them stuff. and the team i am in have all the fun and enthu pple! yays! i foresee nt so boring days ahead. HA AH a.

oh yeah and i think working in the tanjong pagar area sure beats the raffles area (and everywhere else as a matter of fact...) cos there are so much cheap and good food around within short walking distance. always looking forward to lunch times cos we always get to try something different! just yesterday, uncle lim brought me and meiyun to the FO YA SHI temple to eat at this vegetarian restaurant. first time there and eating vegetarian and i was a nice experience... i didnt even know that place existed!

still lots of things waiting for me to discover! ah aha. my colleagues tell me that this is like my honey moon period so i am like trying to enjoy as much of it now while i can. :)
