i have never been so patriotic all my life till yesterday. ha. went to the national stadium to watch the second leg of the ASEAN football championship semi finals clash between singapor and malaysia. went with my family. plenty of people went for the match. kangli and his bunch of ntu friends, my neighbour, alvina, melissa from school... and the sea of red covered the whole stadium it was so good to just look at it.*hoots* the atmosphere was so great! it's really as different thing watching the match and being there for yourself LIVE. omigod, do u think they captured me on tv? ha ha. and what's a match without the kallang wave? so fun la.ya and so i was there cheering so loudly that i think poor kangli and my mum (who were both sitting next to me), had their poor ears damaged. it was really a tough fight la. it was a draw (1-1) during when the final whistle was blown and we had to go into extra time. still no goal and so, it was the penalty. i felt that it was the highlight of the entire match. so freaking scary and tense la. practically biting my nails. Lionel lewis saved the day and the ball ( he blocked the final penalty ball) and we won! yay going to finals! really hope the finals will be in singapore so i can go watch again. the whole stadium rocked! it was literally shaking when the match came to an end. there was a pretty big rain AFTER the match. see, even the skies are rejoicing. ah, victory never tasted this good.
