met up with kangli yesterday at town. we had a mission but apparently, we got side tracked by lotsa things. it's really not our problem cos the things in town are so overpriced and there is so limited choice available. so in the end, we spent most of our time just walking around, talking and playing all the little eye sight games. ha, cos kangli reckons that his eyesight is failing him these days. so after trying to read thousand of sign boards and posters, i dragged him to this optical shop in citilink to have it officially tested. turns out it's only 25/25. pretty ok...if u compare it to mine. i have been wearing specs since i was in pri2 k, wat u expect? ha bro, one piece of advice, dun look at girls too much la. then it will get better. wa ha ha. and for all that tennis he plays, he gets tired really easily while shopping. we needed to take a sit for a few times cos the old man complains that his legs cannot take it anymore. and he wonders where i get all the energy from. ha i can walk and walk for half a day (while shopping, of course) without feeling tired la. see, shopping is really a good form of exercise. someone, please enlighten my mum on that. ha. having said that, i assure u, i am not a hard core shopaholic. really.
oh and did i mentioned we play pool too? and needless to say, i was trashed by him la. i won one game out of six, and that was only cos kangli hit the white ball in together with the black. sigh, time to brush up my skills.
after tat, it was dinner at ikea with cheryl. meatballs and chicken wings were so yummy. ashley liu, are u reading this? yum yum yum yum. and sorry to disappoint u, nope, we did not choke on them.in fact, it was absolutely scrumptious.please do not start drooling all over ur com. we walked around the place after tat. yeap, still can walk. ha, was super recharged after the meal. ikea was selling this long long snake for $1.90! it's dirt cheap compared to it's original price of $7.90. cheryl got one for her little cousin. and here comes the funny part. apparently, plenty of people thought it was cheap too. so the entire place was practically swarming with green snakes. it's really amusing looking at the different ways people carrying the long green stuffed toy. there's the possesive sort, the future-tai-tai-to-be... and of course i had to do MY version of it. which is obviously very diva-ish. ha. and cheryl was hooting with laughter at her snake turban. very creative i must say.
and the best part of it all? liverpool won chelsea 2-0 in the epl that very day. woohoo! yay. the perfect way to end a perfect day. ha.
