been teaching my little korean girl for quite sometime now. for someone who once sweared i wont consider teaching as a profession (ya la, for the sake of the poor children, i think i make a lousy teacher anyway...ha aha ), i gotta say the lessons i have had with her had been more enjoyable than boring. :) avril's a really smart girl and so i dun really have a hard time teaching her. ha, and apart from a not so proficient english, the both of us communicate just fine. in fact, the cheeky girl has been peppering her sentences with "lar" and "lor", imitating me when i speak. ah aha. and lookin at her sorta reminds me when i was her age. we both had our fair share of sec sch crushes (haha, shiwen/clara i know u are thinking of mr gXXXXXXX now. aagggrrhhh.) just the other day, she was telling me about hers and i found it really amusing with her animated way of story telling.h aha a. makes me want to be young again. sec sch days were like the best time of life lor. always reminiscing the past these days...

i was treated to dinner at their place today and its really a cultural shock for me. cos authentic korean food taste nothing like the ones sold in local food courts. wa, their kimchi was damn shiok. sour and spicy with loads of punch. takes sometime to get aquainted with the taste though... all the other dishes served was yummy too but korean food tends to be a bit on the spicy side and i am not really a great fan of spicy food. my fav got to be the seasoned cuttlefish. super appetising lor. and they made me feel welcomed, intro-ing every dish and asking me how was it.h aha aha. :)

and courtesy of parry and kangli's good lobang, i went for the first facial of my life with poon yesterday. ya la, sua ku can....ha aha a. it was a pretty good self pampering session though i seriously doubt the effectiveness leh. 24hrs later, my skin feels the same to me as before leh. ah ah a, or maybe cos i too thick skin la, need more sessions.

overload of sch work this week. all the datelines are approaching and i am churning out assignments like a mad woman.
