after henderson today, headed down to town with poon for some girl time. ha, we go there so often my dad always joke that we go there to collect rent. had lunch at hong kong cafe. the one at cine didnt taste as good as the one at siglap. but we were too hungry to really care la. had a real good heart to heart talk over baked cheese rice, beef hor fun and milk tea. then its time for the thing we have been looking forward to whole week - AH LONG PTE LTD movie! we have been catching commercials of it on tv for the past few days. the main reason we want to watch it is cos of the whole malaysian accent... sorta prelude to next week's trip. ha.took our usual couple's seat at the back row. for "safety reason" la. ha aha ah aha. we were causing such a rackus even before the show even started la. (whip out the notebook: jia ji, jia mao, jia gou... heh poon? ha aha ha a)

as predicted, it was a pretty nonsensical show la. but its down right hilarious. we were laughing pretty much the entire show. and i loved the fact that the show kept all the cantonese/ dialect parts instead of dubbing it. kept the movie authentic and so full of local flavor. damn vulgur but tat's the whole point. the ending was quite lost though. and poon was so fascinated with one of the gangster. ha ha ha ah a.

and YES! just watched the latest of project runway and 2 of my fav designers are in the finals!!! woohoo! super looking forward to the finals.
