ok i am back!!!!! four days seem so fast. i miss my girls already! ha ha aha ah. though nt the first time to malaysia, its certainly the funnest trip so far. great sense of independence and adventure cos we planned everything from scratch, did our own bookings, researching....and then travelled around with the help of maps, asking strangers and public transport. damn shiok. had loads of laughter, jokes and gossips. 4 girls leh wat u expect. ha.
anyway, on the first day we all woke up damn early. met at golden mile for the 8am bus. sleepy but excited. with all our luggage we are set to 4 days of fun and more fun! ha. here's us at the customs...
the bus ride got off to a pretty shaky start cos the bus had mosquitos in them at first. we spent the first hr busy swatting mozzies, which resulted in the "ethno graphic film pose" joke.
the poor mosquito which got flattened by me. ha ha ah aha.
alot of sleeping and reading on the bus, while i entertain myself by happily snapping pics. its a pretty long journey but after 5 hrs, we finally arrived. yayness! checked in to the hotel to wash up. (more details on the hotel in future posts) then took a train down to KLCC to see the twin towers. abit cliche but what's a touristy trip tp kl and not see the twin towers?
us and the tickets. look of triumph on our faces...ha, machiam sua gu never buy tickets from machines b4.
and then more monkeying around while waiting for the train. when we arrived at klcc, we were more excited at the shopping there then to see the towers.
had a&w's float after walking around for quite some time. yummiest floats. i love their root beer. cos we are such procastinators, we only saw the twin towers after like 2hrs? when we were just standing below it. ha, shopping does has its charms.
we found the best spots for pics. ha. after which we were still high on taking pics, so we did jump shots at the fountain nearby.
took many tries before getting it right. ha, jo can really jump man! and damn we look pretty unglam here. guess we were pretty much amusing ourselves and the other tourists. ha. trekked over to another shopping centre some 800m away for more shopping therapy. shiok. we bought stuff from practically every shop we stepped into. kl shopping has certainly improved from the last time i was there. hrs of walking made us hungry souls so we settled for seafood dinner nearby to recharge. isnt exactly the yummiest seafood around but still cheap enough. 91rm for 6 dishes leh!
