its was a great trip down memory lane as me and clara went back to our secondary school --- CHUNG CHENG HIGH SCHOOL (MAIN) today. oh, how much i love that place so much. i swear it got to be the most beautiful school and at least the biggest in the east. its where i grew up and spent the happiest moments there. :)

the long long road from the bus stop into school. though we used to complain about the distance in the past, i wouldnt mind walking along it more often from now. ha. talked alot along the way in. TWIN DOGS heh, rara? (private joke la)

Ah, finally we reach school! yay! the ancient school gates every cchs kid walk past tonnes of times. though it looks old, i think it has a lot of charm. sort of signify a passage for the next 4 yrs to come. been 9 long yrs since i first step through it.

see, i told u the school is HUGE. and uber gorgeous. check out the lake and wonderful scenery! the lake has koi fish and turtles in it. and b4 the bird flu thingy we even had chickens, ducks and gooses running around freely in sch. pretty much like a farm heh. ha ha aha ha. me and clara were snapping pics like crazy. we prolly covered the whole school.
the grand auditorium! looks like some ancient temple but how many schools in singapore can boast of an auditorium as big as this!? its double storey one ok. i remember performing on that stage for many times during my days in chinese orchestra. :) yeah and besides this audi we also have a sch hall like all other schools for exams, level assemblies blah blah. the important events are always held at the grand audi.

the canteen! my fav stall is the noodles store. it always has a long long queue but the laksa on wednesdays are damn shiok. too bad the old auntie isnt there anymore. heard they change stall owners le. :(
4RESPECT! that my old class door plate. we were a pretty rowdy class but we study hard too one k. ah aha ha aha ha.
me and mdm wong our form teacher. she's a lovely lady who really doted on us alot. and the painting is done by the calligraphy teacher. yep, in those days we learnt chinese calligraphy too. :)

my last shot in school before we left. with the class room block in the back ground. the place i am standing on is the area where we had our flag rasing ceremony. alot of pple have the impression that chung cheng is a cheena piang place cos we got a real deep heritage. ha, but i never regret choosing to go there for my sec sch education. in fact, its the best decision i ever made. the most important lessons in life go beyond textbooks. CCHS will always remain special place in my heart... ahhhhh, i miss that place already!

as our ex principal always like to say:
TODAY I AM PROUD OF CHUNG CHENG, TOMORROW CHUNG CHENG WILL BE PROUD OF ME. ha aha ha ah.
