17 feb (sat)
had reunion dinner at my place. i love steam boat dinners la. yum yum. especially the quail eggs. they look so delicate and fragile but they sure are delicious. and it feels so good to be able to sit with the whole family. good bonding session. and after that we headed over to chinatown to absorb the CNY atmosphere. the place was pretty packed la. it was more like smelling each other's BO then the aroma of bak kwa. but nonetheless, still managed to do some last minute shopping. just some kueh and ang kong kong deco that will only last the fifteen days... ha, and did i mention i saw sly from SI? he is freaking skinny la. with all that make up, he sure looks like an alien to me. ha. and yup, as clara already know...i saw singapore run too. this is like the dunno how many time i have seen him out of school.
18 feb (sun)
first day of the new year! woke up pretty late cos i stayed up the night before. (nai nai shuo be neng shui, dei wei ba ma shou shui... ha. mac anyone?) and then my whole family headed down to my youngest uncle's place. catching up with all my cousins. only see them few times a year... whoa, they all grew taller. i like the shortest now la. though i am one of the oldest... seems like yesterday when we all used to play together but now, all of us have grown up. dunno whether this is good or bad. i miss the old days. after that, we headed down to the guan yin ma temple at bugis. the place is so crowded. hope GYM will still remember to bless me...ha ha. i seem like a busy woman on CNY huh...cos after that, i still headed down to the river hong bao at marina. the place like never change leh. =boring. just an up market pasar malam to me. ha. and cos all the places are closed, i had to resort to having burger king for dinner. FAST FOOD on CNY.can u believe it?! ha.
19 feb (mon)
went to cheryl's place to hang out. just crapped around...kpo a bit. and i saw javier! ha ha, he change so much, but still as shy la. ha ha. uncle drove us to his friend's place at simei and turns out brendan is his friend's neighbour. some world. we played with brendy's dog pepper.i was a bit afraid of it at first but soon warmed up to it cos it's really cute. pretty camera shy though...had such a hard time trying to get it to look at the cam.
cute dog huh? when we drove back, we met with the first accident of my life. this van rammed into the back or cheryl's car. i was in the back seat, so could really feel the impact la. my neck still hurts a bit. the car was in pretty bad shape and cheryl was fuming. dun worry, i am relatively ok. a bit shaken up though. was in a state of shock for a while.for more details, visit cheryl's blog la. at cheryl's aunt place, i gambled abit. didn't win or lose though. ha ha.
20 feb (tues)
this has got to be the funnest day of all. hit town with cheryl and alvina. ended up at k box. i finally managed to find my one night in beijing...credits goes to alvina.ha. i think i was pretty much hogging the mike cos my throat felt so sore after that. and dun believe alvin when he says he cannot sing. the guy CAN sing k.act shy only. ha ha. and my fav has got to be this really retro song called RE QING SHA MO. dunno if u guys have heard of it, but it's a really high song. expect a lot of couch jumping...quite tired after that though...
future super stars in the making. i think alvina can count us as loyal fans from now on. ha. i accidently deleted some pics from cheryl cam. oops. actually have more one la. after that, we went to cheryl's place AGAIN. ha ha, sorta round two for us. but in the end we ended up talking in cheryl's room. had a great time nonetheless. talked till ten. could have talked more la but it was pretty late. we really got lotsa crap huh.
and so four days just went by like that. time to hit the books again. sigh.
