i know i am supposed to be studying but i couldnt resist the temptation to watch MSU 2007. ya all that poise elegance and grace, seeing pretty women swantering up and down the stage in impossibly high heels and jon leong singing (ha, jo that part was just to irk u...lalaa). world peace! how they can say it so nicely seriously intrigues me. i almost bursted out laughing when one of the contestants said she wanted to fight global warming, and the other refering to her mum as a HE( she must be really nervous or the mum is...well. swell). wa ha ah. but i guess credit has to be given to them la. at least got the courage and confidence to join. this years mix is pretty predictable. i mean half way through the show i already know who goin to win le. (even though her QnA wasnt fantastic) the same mould lo. long hair, charming pearly white smile, and yes definitely BIG. well looks really play a big part i must say. it is after all a beauty pagent. it is not called brainy pagent for a very good reason. and the look on the winner's face when she was pronounced the winner? classic. hand cover the mouth, hug hug, and the i-cant-believe-i-won look. i am sure they went through some lessons on how to look the part. and so my conclusion? no surprise lo. it was a sense of dejavu every year round. i want to see change! ha. but well beauty as cliche as it sounds, is pretty subjective so well... hope this yr's msu dun throw our country face in the final can le.

anyway, for dinner today, PAAI headed to botak jones at clem mrt station. heard great reviews about it and really wanted to try it for ourselves. for neighbourhood food i must say it really lived up to my expectations. i mean wat more can u ask for $6? the portions were generous and everything served fresh. take a look at the botak burger i ordered...slurrp.

i personally preferred the sunset bar's burgers more ( haha, ali must be nodding his head vigorously too...), and well i hate waiting so must go real early (the queue can get pretty scary...), so if ask me wait for more then half hour i confirm go off le. ha. impatient kid, that's me. well, its back to my date with dukheim for now. what's new heh? the exam period is really driving most of us up the wall. keep hallucinating a certain tommy, t rex and jonny boys running around in the library. and well, iskandar too. more sightings of them please! lalala.
